About Our Mission

Revitalizing Sonbeel through sustainable practices and community empowerment

Sonbeel Wetland

The Sonbeel Challenge

Sonbeel, one of the largest wetlands in Assam and a critical biodiversity hotspot, is facing severe degradation due to plastic pollution, encroachment, and unsustainable practices. This has led to a 40% reduction in fish yields and a 50% decline in migratory bird populations, threatening the livelihoods of thousands of dependents.

Our CSR project aims to address these challenges through a holistic approach that combines eco-tourism, vocational training, health initiatives, and conservation efforts to empower local communities while preserving the ecosystem.

Our Mission

"To revitalize Sonbeel by integrating sustainable tourism, ecological conservation, and community empowerment—ensuring a thriving ecosystem while creating dignified livelihoods for local stakeholders."

Our Vision

"To transform Sonbeel into a global model of wetland sustainability, where biodiversity flourishes, tourism drives equitable growth, and communities lead as stewards of their natural heritage."
